Cheryl Cole – the ex-Girls Aloud singer and X Factor judge – earns over 500k per year from ads for L’Oreal, according to the UK newspaper, The Daily Mirror – and the publication recently reported that the partnership might not be long-term. But – that seems to be a rumor.

Metro.co.uk now reports that it was just a rumor – and L’Oreal has no plans of dropping the celeb. The website says that a L’Oreal spokesman has confirmed that the rumors were fabricated.

Cole has been a brand ambassador since 2009, but the rumors began after photos of the large rose tattoo on her lower back spread around the Internet. The look seems to clash with the ‘natural beauty’ she is meant to be promoting for L’Oreal’s Skin Perfection Skincare Range. Before her current campaign, she was promoting L’Oreal hair color – but, it was reported that she was moved to the new category when she kept dying her hair different colors.

Cole this response to the rumors on Twitter:

‘People are entitled to their own opinion. Personally I’ve never really concerned myself with other people’s body parts!’
